Astrup and Rasmussen claim the gold for Denmark
In a final match that was not short of thrilling moments, the Danish duo claimed the European Games 2023 men’s doubles gold medal.
Close right until the end, the men’s doubles final match of the badminton event at the European Games 2023 certainly kept all spectators on the edge of their seats. After tough three games, Kim Astrup and Anders Rasmussen Skaarup claimed the gold with a win against Ben Lane and Sean Vendy, Great Britain, with a scoreline of 21-15, 19-21, 21-19.
This is their first gold but second European Games medal, as they won the silver in Minsk 2019.
