Amy Wall made history
Irish female full contact fighter Amy Wall made history at The European Games 2023. She won gold medal and was chosen as Irish flag bearer for the Closing ceremony of the Games.
This brave 22 year old kickboxer beat Norway’s Mariell Gaassan Straume in the -60kg category in a very tough fight.
“I want to keep getting more fights, competing in tournaments and see where things go”, said Amy to the media.
WAKO President Roy Baker, who is Kickboxing Ireland President, was the first who congratulated her after finishing the fight.
