First medals for sport shooters in Wroclaw
European Games have started. Hungary won gold medal in 10 m Air Rifle Mixed Team competition in Wrocław. Ismail Keles from Turkey was the best among men in 10 m Air Pistol. Polish Klaudia Breś won the gold medal in the women’s contest. More sport emotions are planned for today.
The first gold medals were won by hungarian duo: Zalan Tibor Pekler and Eszter Meszaros. They were better than Spaniards (Paula Grande Martinez & Jesus Oviedo Berenguer) in 10 m Air Rifle Mixed Team competition. Third was team from Italy.
– We achieved first gold medal in European Games. I think we are both very satisfied and we are looking forward to the next competition. We would like to collect as much medals as possible – Zalan Pekler said.
Yesterday there was also 10 m Air Pistol contest. The best among men was Ismail Keles from Turkey who was better than German Robin Walter. Paolo Monna from Italy took third place. In women’s competition Klaudia Breś won the gold medal. She won 17:13 with Camille Jedrzejewski from France after really tough match. Third was Olena Kostevych from Ukraine.
More sport emotions are planned for today in Wroclaw: 10 m Air Pistol Mixed Team, 10 m Air Rifle Men and 10 m Air Riffle Woman competitions. All results HERE.
