East of Culture European Stadium of Culture
date: June 23-25, 2023
The festival will include:
- MAIN CONCERT 23.06, Siberian Park
- PROJECTS 23 – 25.06
Lubomirski Castle moat and other spaces of Rzeszow
This is one of the many attractions of Rzeszow for fans who will watch the diving competition, which will take place as part of the European Games on June 22-28.
The concert will be opened by Daria from Silesia – a rising star of the Polish music scene.
On the Rzeszow stage we will see, among others, Justyna Steczkowska in a duet with the Latvian band Brainstorm, and the mysterious group BOKKA, which will perform with an Estonian multi-instrumentalist – Andres Kõpper, with the artistic pseudonym NOËP.
During the Universum Collectives Concert, Polish stars will present themselves in unusual duets with foreign artists. This year’s title of the Concert of Collectives refers to the figure of Nicolaus Copernicus – the patron saint of the year, one of the most prominent representatives of the Renaissance, world-renowned astronomer and creator of the heliocentric theory. Universe means parallel, interpenetrating worlds, in analogy to the interpenetration of different cultures and musical genres presented during the European Stadium of Culture.

both dividing and combining projects into different artistic D Y S C Y P L I N Ys.
The European Stadium of Culture combines elements of different genres of music, theater, photography, film and visual arts.
The projects of the 13th edition will not be obvious, they will allow the audience to see more, immerse themselves in a story and find their own interpretation.
Most of the events will be oriented towards cooperation, active reception, joint action. In this edition we are accompanied by openness to the new, the unknown, sometimes alien to us, but close to us. We will meet at the intersection of various artistic disciplines, we will search and discover.
The East of Culture Festival is a unique in the country cyclical event, which is the result of a partnership between the National Center for Culture and the largest cultural centers of Eastern Poland: Rzeszow, Lublin and Bialystok. The rich program of the festival, subsidized by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, is the result of artistic cooperation between Polish and foreign artists, primarily from across our eastern border, including the Eastern Partnership countries.
Participation in all events under the East of Culture banner is free of charge.
