We have our first European Games 2023 badminton champions
Gabriela Stoeva and Stefani Stoeva are the first European Games 2023 badminton gold medallists.
With a fantastic run of solid performances this week in Tarnów but with a semifinal where bronze medallists Margot Lamber and Anne Tran, France, challenged them in three games, Bulgaria’s Gabriela Stoeva and Stefani Stoeva have won the women’s doubles gold medal at the European Games 2023.
The reigning European champions faced Debora Jille and Cheryl Seinen, Netherlands, in the final. The Bulgarian duo emerged victorious in straight games, 21-7 21-17, to add yet another European Games gold to their collection.
