Ski jumping in the program of a summer sports event? This will be the case during the European Games Kraków – Małopolska 2023. The President of the Polish Ski Association, Adam Małysz, assures that Poles will appear at the competition in the strongest composition.

This could be one of the hits of the upcoming Games. Ski jumping on Wielka and Srednia Krokiew will be played with plastic mattings. They will certainly enjoy great interest among fans and tourists staying in Zakopane in the summer.

It’s an unusual term for jumpers, but individual federations want to take the European Games very seriously. Poles send the first signal. Adam Małysz confirmed in an interview with the TVPSPORT.PL portal that we can expect the participation of our best jumpers.

“I think so. It’s in the coach’s plans. We will be very interested in that too. I can’t imagine not”, said Malysz.

It will be no different in the case of other representations. The president of the Organizing Committee of the Games, Marcin Nowak, spoke about it earlier.

“We have assurances from individual federations that they will come to us in the strongest composition”, he assured.

The director of the Ski Jumping World Cup, Sandro Pertile, is of a similar opinion.

“Federations should take the competition quite seriously. What to expect? That each federation will send at least three top players”, said the Italian quoted by TVPSPORT.PL.
