Bid for a unique ticket and join the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity!

A great treat is coming up for sports fans who would also like to get involved in the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. The Organising Committee, together with the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, will donate a family VIP ticket to the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation for auction, which will entitle you to enter all the events held as part of the Games.

“We see everything good that is happening through the GOCC, both materially and socially. This needs to be respected and supported,” Sports and Tourism Minister Kamil Bortniczuk said at a press briefing.

“The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity is a form of mobilization of thousands of young people to help other people in a selfless way, sacrificing their time in the name of a common goal. We want to restore the way of looking at the event as an initiative that inspires a sense of community among all Poles. As the Ministry of Sport and Tourism and the European Games 2023 company, we support such approach,” Minister Bortniczuk stressed, as quoted by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism website.

The president of the European Games Organising Committee, Marcin Nowak, also attended Friday’s briefing. Together with Minister Bortniczuk, they informed about a unique family VIP ticket that will be auctioned off at the charity auction of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.

 “We appreciate the pro-social dimension of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, which is why we will donate for auction an open family VIP ticket to all events taking place at the European Games Kraków-Małopolska 2023, including the opening and closing ceremonies. I think it will be a great treat for fans. The world’s biggest sporting event in 2023 is ahead of us,” the minister said.

Ticket bidding has already begun.

At the same time, it has been decided that all volunteers involved in the GOCC will receive priority during the process of selecting volunteers for the European Games.

“Already nearly five thousand volunteers from all over the world have applied, and as a gesture of thanks to all GOCC volunteers, who give their time and hearts for a noble cause, they will be considered and qualified as a priority in our system,” Marcin Nowak assured.
