Reigning European champion Carolina Marin, Spain, faced the European Games 2019 gold medallist Mia Blichfeldt, Denmark. The Spaniard won the final match in straight games, 21-15 21-14.
The Rio 2016 gold medallist and six-time European champion adds yet another continental title by winning the gold in the European Games — her first in this multisport event.
