Tabeling and Piek are the mixed doubles champions
Robin Tabeling and Selena Piek get the Netherlands the mixed doubles medal at the European Games 2023.
In what was bound to be an exciting match between two of Europe’s strongest, Robin Tabeling and Selena Piek, Netherlands, have won the final against Thom Gicquel and Delphine Delrue, France.
The Dutch pair won the bronze medal in the 2022 European Championships, and this is not the first European Games medals for them — in Minsk 2019, Tabeling won the men’s doubles bronze with Jelle Maas, while Piek secured the women’s doubles gold with Cheryl Seinen. Today’s triumph is their first European Games medal as a pair.
