It was a moment to remember. On Sunday, two volunteers took part in the presentation of medals to boxing and kickboxing athletes. This is not the first time that the Association of European Olympic Committees has invited volunteers to participate in this solemn moment.

On Sunday, two volunteers took part in the medal ceremonies. Julia Krauzowicz participated in the awarding of the female fist fighter in the 57kg weight category. In Myślenice, another volunteer, Roch Czernecki, received a similar honour. He joined the medal ceremony alongside the President of the Association of European Olympic Committees (EOC) Spyros Capralos.

“It was a great honour for me, as not many people can get such an honour. I am happy that I was the one selected to represent all the volunteers,” said Czernecki after the ceremony.

Spyros Capralos took this opportunity to thank all the volunteers of the European Games.

“We are grateful to you for the great work you put into the organisation of the European Games. You gave us your hearts, your time and your work. Without you we would not have been able to organise such a successful Games,” said the EOC President.

Czernecki speaks very highly of the participation of volunteers at the European Games.

“Taking part in the European Games was an amazing experience. I strongly encourage everyone to get involved in such initiatives, as it is a great opportunity to meet loads of people. I am very happy to have been part of the Games,” said Czernecki.

To commemorate the event, he received the badge of the Association of European Olympic Committees from the hands of Spyros Capralos.
