On Friday, the competition of male and female boxers begins
The Krakow-Malopolska 2023 European Games have begun, with the struggles of female and male boxers set to begin on Friday. The rank is unique, as male and female athletes will compete for Olympic qualification.
Women will compete in six categories, men in seven. During the competition held in Nowy Targ, a pass to the Olympic Games in Paris (2024) will be earned by 22 female and 22 male athletes.
Women will compete in the following categories:
50 kg (4 qualifiers), 54 kg (4), 57 kg (4), 60 kg (4), 66 kg (4) and 75 kg (2).
Men will compete in seven categories:
51 kg (2), 57 kg (4), 63.5 kg (4), 71 kg (4), 80 kg (4), 92 kg (2) and +92 kg (2).
The draw will be held tomorrow. Poland is represented by a set of six female and seven male athletes.
