The biggest and strongest players enter the game
Two days of struggles in the ring in Nowy Targ are behind us. On Sunday, the biggest and strongest beaters will enter the game. Female and male boxers will compete in five categories.
For some of the boxers, today will be their second fights at the European Games. Ladies will compete at 50kg and 75kg, while men will compete at 63,5kg, 71kg and +92kg.
Who to watch out for? Sofiane Oumiha (63.5 kg) from France, a three-time world champion and Olympic silver medalist from Rio, has already won one fight in Nowy Targ. Assan Hansen from Germany, who also showed a good performance on Friday.
In the 71kg weight class, Damian Durkacz (POL), a Tokyo Olympian, will meet 2021 world champion Yurii Zakharieiev. Those two met four months ago, so it is time for rematch for Polish, because Ukrainian representative turned out to be better.
In the super heavyweight division, Marko Milun (CRO) and Delicious Orie (GBR) will face each other in the first fight. It will certainly be interesting bout.
The first series of fights from 13:00, the second from 18:00.
