Yesterday we had a great sports competition in Wroclaw. Gold for the men’s and women’s teams of Germany in the 10 m Air Pistol. In 10 m Air Rifle – among men, the best were Hungarians, among women – Norwegians.

In the 10 m Air Pistol Team Men, the national teams of Germany and Turkey went head to head in the final game. The German team consisting of: Christian Reitz, Michael Schwald and Robin Walter won the gold medal, but it must be emphasized that both teams did not want to let the victory out of their hands until the very end. The result of the clash – 16:14. Emotions ran high at the end.

Italy and Georgia fought for the bronze medal. Federico Maldini, Paolo Monna and Massimo Spinella were better than Tsotne Machavariani, Kako Mosulishvili and Levan Kadagidze. This duel ended with the score 17:7.

Then the ladies competed against each other. First, bronze medal match – Poland against Italy. Sara Costantino, Chiara Giancamilli and Maria Varricchio turned out to be better than Joanna Wawrzonowska, Klaudia Breś and Julita Borek.

In the final, the Germans competed with the French. Doreen Vennekamp was a great shooter and thanks to her attitude, the German team reached for gold. The match ended with the result 16:8.

The final duels in the 10 m Air Rifle Team Men were quite one-sided. In the bronze medal contest, the Austrians turned out to be better than the Ukrainians. Alexander Schmirl, Martin Strempfl and Andreas Thum beat Serhiej Kulish, Oleh Tsarkov and Sviatoslav Hudzyi 16-2.

The gold went to the Hungarians, who were better than the Croats in the final duel. This rivalry also ended with a score of 16:2. Josip Sikavica, Miran Maricic and Petar Gorsa had to be content with silver medal. Championship title went to a team: Zalan Pekler, Istvan Peni and Som Hammerl.

In women’s competition bronze medal match, Poles had to stand up against Hungarian team. Polish sport shooters were confident and this was decisive for their final success. Result? 17:5.

Norway and Switzerland competed for the gold medal. The matchup was really interesting. Finally, it ended at 16:14 and the champions were the representatives of Norway: Nina Christen, Audrey Gogniat and Chiara Leone.
